Costco Wholesale in North Miami deserves a pat on the back for hosting a “Time to Give Back” expo creating great exposure for over 20 Aventura Marketing Council member charities and non-profit organizations.
The exceptional Expo, held during the height of the holiday season, provided excellent opportunities for distribution of literature about a myriad of worthy causes. An exceptionally large turnout of Costco members attended as well as AMC business and community leaders invited to enjoy great networking, an extraordinary array of food samplings courtesy of Costco plus exciting door prizes.
In keeping with Costco’s extravagant generosity, the complementary expo tables were provided to Arts Ballet Theater of Florida, Aventura North Miami Beach Lions Club, Bnai Zion Foundation, Boys Town Jerusalem, Children’s Home Society of Florida, David Lawrence Jr. K-8 Center PTSA, Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, FIU-Wolfe University Center, Greater Miami Region of Hadassah, Hebrew Homes Foundation, Holocaust Documentation & Education Center, Jewish Community Centers, The Kabbalah Centre, Krop Sr. High, Michael-Ann Russell JCC, Miami Jewish Health Systems, National Psoriasis Foundation, Rotary Club of Hallandale Beach – Aventura, South Florida Shomrim Society, State Attorney Bad Check Restitution Program, The Victory School and Voices for Children.
Thanking everyone who helped make the “Time to Give Back” expo possible, including Costco’s director of marketing Lisa Scheinert, Alan Silverberg of the Michael-Ann Russell JCC expressed the sentiments of fellow participants: “We appreciate being included and were happy to receive additional exposure. We look forward to participating in more events in the future and are happy to be part of the Aventura Marketing Council. P.S. Thanks also for Costco’s incredible spread of food – it was terrific!”
While reaping the rewards of giving back, guests also learned more about the rewards associated with Costco memberships. Dedicated to bringing members the best possible prices on quality brand-name merchandise, Costco provides exclusive member services and a wide selection of merchandise combined with the convenience of specialty departments such as fresh meat, produce and a deli, an independent optometrist, optical department, 1-hour photo/digital prints, pharmacy, bakery and food court, auto buying program, tire service center, gas station and special order kiosk.
