The Aventura Marketing Council's monthly SpeedBiz Meeting, North Dade's all-time favorite networking event, recently convened at Farrey's Lighting & Bath where members enjoyed the hospitality of the Farrey’s team while browsing the elaborate showroom before jumping in for several rounds of Lightning Biz.
Lightning Biz gives participants the opportunity to exchange business cards and short presentations with up to 30 other qualified business prospects. Think of it as Speed Dating for your business!
“AMC’s SpeedBiz meetings have helped to welcome me into the membership,” says Karen Rachles of Custom Spine. “It’s an ideal setting because it gives new members like myself an opportunity to meet long time members and exchange information about what we do professionally, so when the need arises, we can do business together.”
Farrey’s Lighting & Bath, 1850 NE 146th Street in North Miami, is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year, and throughout that history has built a reputation as one of the most comprehensive lighting, decorative bath and hardware companies in South Florida.

From picture lamps to the most extravagant crystal chandeliers, she says, Farrey's is the Mecca of design. In its two 40,000-square-foot showrooms - one in North Miami and one in Coconut Grove - Farrey's carries hundredsof the most prestigious lines of lighting, high-end bath, cabinet and door hardware, furniture and accessories.
