Aventura Marketing Council Chairman’s Roundtable members recently enjoyed a great afternoon with football greats when IT Doctors, The Dental Care Group and Allstate Insurance teamed up to co-host a “fan-tastic” luncheon featuring Oronde Gadsden, Jeff Cross, Troy Stradford, Leonard Marshall, Bernard Ford, Marvin Jones, Lorenzo Hampton and Nat Moore. Craig Minervini, Fox Sports Florida sportscaster, served as “MVP” emcee - and it was really a slam dunk surprise when former NBA star Dennis Rodman made a special appearance. 

AMC Chair Cliff Schulman of Greenberg Traurig welcomed winning business and community leaders to Christine Lee’s at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino in Hallandale Beach for the “Football From the Insiders” event generating excitement for the kickoff of football season and next year’s  Pro Bowl (Jan. 31)  and Super Bowl  (Feb. 7) coming to Dolphin Stadium. 

Kicking off the event, IT Doctors technology phenoms Eric Beck, Steve Goitia, Maiko Del Bel and Jay Taylor along with The Dental Care Group’s stellar dentists Dr. Rick Mars, Dr. Joel Glicksman and Dr. Joshua Coussa; and Allstate all-star insurance experts Bob Mednick and Michelle Desjardins talked a good game about going above and beyond to provide outstanding service in their respective fields.

 Then, displaying superstar sportscaster talent, Minervini asked inside the NFL questions such as, “How did you feel on game day?”

Lorenzo Hampton, Miami Dolphins:

“For me, game day was about being excited, ready to go and having fun!”

Jeff Cross, Miami Dolphins:

“On game day, you know you’re going to get pushed around and you’re going to be sore - it was always a fight.”

Marvin Jones, NY Jets:

“Game day ritual was a cup of coffee - and two Imodium!”

Nat Moore, Miami Dolphins:

At the “two minute warning,” AMC members were left with this “Dol-fan” message: “Looks like it’s going to be ‘one heck of a year’ for the Dolphins – so it  looks bad for the Jets!”
