It was a magical blend of business building, socializing and supporting a worthy cause when Morton’s the Steakhouse recently hosted an Aventura Young Professionals luncheon benefitting the Victory Center for Autism & Behavioral Challenges.
Faster than you can say, “Abracadabra!” a great turnout of under-45 entrepreneurs appeared to enjoy Morton’s superb cuisine and contribute to the ongoing success of the Victory Center – preparing for the 9th annual Starry Night Gala fundraiser themed “The Magic of Giving.”
AYP Chair Michael Yavner of Northern Trust and Morton’s general manager Rosa Reyes along with marketing manager Jessica Steele joined by Judy Nelson and Thalya Olmos of the Victory Center welcomed guests practically levitating over the thought of savoring Morton’s famous Filet Mignon or Chicken Christopher – highlighting a variety of menu options offering items “for every palate and any occasion.”
Leaders from Melnick, Lilienfeld & Castonguay CPA’s, Bank of Florida, Fabian Realty, Delta Psychological Group, Fashion Factor, Berman Chiropractic, County Line Chiropractic, Classic Residence by Hyatt and Corporate Communications agreed there’s no “hocus pocus” behind Morton’s commitment to serving only the finest quality foods, featuring USDA prime-aged beef, fresh fish and seafood, hand-picked produce, delicious appetizers and elegant desserts.
Teams from Potamkin Honda, Stern Bloom Media, Ruden McClosky, Park One, BNY Mellon, Taft Forward, Florida Marlins, Dolphins Stadium, Miami Jewish Home & Hospital and Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach also noted it’s no illusion Morton’s strives to provide unparalleled hospitality plus the perfect solution for business meeting needs. Corporate and festive functions can always be reserved in a Morton’s private Boardroom with help from a dedicated sales and marketing manager who will cater to your every need.
Friends from Metlife, Cemusa, Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort, Greater Miami Region of Hadassah, Ameriprise Financial, My Netkey, Nature’s Best, JGB Bank and attorney Eric Miller were inspired by The Victory Center’s unique ability to transform the “magic of giving” into programs and services providing hope, education and opportunity for children and families affected by autism and developmental or behavioral challenges. Funded in 2000 by the parents of a child with autism, the Victory Center has since grown to include academic and transitional programs as well as family and community outreach services.
Before “the best steak anywhere” magically disappeared from Morton’s fine china, colleagues from Seo4anyone.com, Nova Southeastern University, the Office of Dr. Richard Galitz, Bloomgarden, Goudreau & Rosen, Costco, Velocity Processing, Pavlik Real Estate, AquaMare and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney planned on attending the Victory Center’s Starry Night Gala on March 7th at the Westview Country Club featuring live entertainment, music, magic and more!
Revenues from the gala honoring Florida Sen. Steven A. Geller and autism specialist Dr. Robin Parker will help provide tuition assistance for families in need and will also help fund a new onsite therapy clinic, programs for older children and young adults as well as primary school general funding.
